The real innovation of this technology compared to previous ones is the ability to obtain much smaller devices than traditional printers (on average, Zink printers measure 12 x 8.2 x 2 cm) thanks to the reduced print size. These printers also come equipped with a lithium battery for portability.

There is no need to worry about ink cartridges with this technology because, incredibly, the paper already contains the pigment, which changes color based on the temperature applied by the printer. In less than a minute, you can get a practical and high-quality print.

This means that we can always carry it with us in our bag or backpack and print any image directly from our phone’s gallery via Bluetooth. Often, these devices also come with small editing features, but there’s nothing stopping us from taking a photo with our phone/tablet, editing it with external apps (such as Snapseed), and then printing it.

In recent years, the joy of printing has been lost, but certain memories can only be truly cherished if we can touch them with our hands.

Ma qual è la vera novità di questa tecnologia rispetto alle precedenti?
Praticamente, grazie alle ridotte dimensioni di stampa, permette di ottenere dispositivi molto più piccoli delle stampanti tradizionali (mediamente le stampanti Zink misurano 12 x 8,2 x 2 cm) e dotati di batteria al litio.

Non ci dobbiamo preoccupare di inchiostri o cartucce perché, incredibilmente, la carta contiene già il pigmento; questo cambierà colore in base alla temperatura che viene impressa dalla stampante! In meno di un minuto si otterrà una stampa pratica e di qualità.

Possiamo quindi tenerla sempre con noi, in borsa o nello zaino e stampare al momento, direttamente dalla galleria del cellulare, via bluetooth qualsiasi immagine; spesso questi dispositivi sono corredati anche di piccole funzionalità di ritocco, ma nulla vieta di scattare con cellulare/tablet, modificare con app esterne (es. con Snapseed) e poi stampare.

Negi ultimi anni si è perso il gusto della stampa, ma certi ricordi sono indelebili solo se possiamo toccarli con mano.
